My host mother was thrilled and every 5 minutes would ask me what step they were currently on! Doesn’t it look good?!

On to the third and final day in Mallorca. We had booked a late flight back to Valencia, so we were able to take a bus to the east side of the island to explore the Cuevas Drach. The cave was discovered in 1880, but was remodeled to accommodate visitors in 1922. After entering the caves, we were allowed 20 minutes to explore before being escorted to an auditorium space for a classical musical concert, inside the cave! The pictures do not do the cave justice, as there were thousands upon thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in every direction.

After about an hour in the caves, we walked the few hundred meters to the village of Porto Cristo to take a few pictures before catching our bus back to Palma.
